I agree with your recent note. And I'd like to
cite the following paragraph in particular:

I have absolutely no quarrel with that point of view.
And in fact, my recent note, for which I changed the subject
line to "Finding an upper ontology", proposes an empirical,
scientific approach to the problem.
Motion #2, which started this whole debate, outlines only part
of the methodology. Formal Concept Analysis (FCA), which I
mentioned in my note and on my web site, is part of the IFF
methodology, which is included in motion #2.
