D4. In terms of general systems [was D1. Summary: Separate computer science ontology from philosophical ontology]

Dear Avril,

The dictionary defines system as a group of interacting, interrelated, or interdependent elements forming a complex whole.

I add the word general so as not to restrict the vocabulary to any particular domain of systems.

The vocabulary includes a limited number of basic terms that are derived from the definition of system.

Dear James,

please first characterize what you mean by 'general systems'.

If one of the set of 500-page books expresses a Perfect Philosophical Ontology, then the terms used in that book are those of General Systems.
