MW: I will do that next.

MW: I believe I have addressed that in the latest version. If you
disagree I think we need to ask the membership if the emphasis is
right or not.

MW: I agree that we should bring it to the whole group, and I believe
it is worth the effort, so I will do this. It is worth making the
effort to move forward.

MW: The convention I am following is that the margin menu is the
same on all pages and allows immediate navigation around the site.
They are repeated in the body of the page to give an immediate link.
This is best practice in web design.

MW: In my browser the only time the links go onto two lines is when
they are for the current page and in bold. I thought that was
sufficiently obvious not to be a concern. If you get something different
this is unintended (the margin is supposed to be fixed width, so it
should not be a problem, though you may have your browser set up to
have larger size text than mine).
MW: If you use IE you can go to View, Text Size and see your current
setting. If you set it to medium you should get rid of the problem.
Equally, there is nothing I can do to stop people using a different size.
So this is always a potential problem.

MW: Happy to do so.
