DAWG Policy Statement on Email Surveys of the DAWG membership:

Survey questions that are proposed for email submission to DAWG membership shall be forwarded to the DAWG leadership (chair, vice chair and/or secretary) for review. The proposed survey questions will be reviewed to consider the relevance and interest to the DAWG and to make a determination if the results are expected to contribute to or advance the Distribution Automation technology. Questions seeking opinions about the performance or offerings of specific vendors or consultants are always considered inappropriate for this forum. Questions that disclose or seek disclosure of confidential information are also considered inappropriate.

If the email survey is deemed appropriate, the DAWG leadership (secretary) will distribute the survey questions to the DAWG membership via email for response by email reply to the DAWG. The results will be tabulated and distributed to the DAWG membership. The name and company affiliation of persons that submit survey questions shall always be identified in the survey. However, the names and other contact information for survey participants who request anonymity shall be withheld from the survey results. The review of an Email Question Survey will be performed expeditiously by the DAWG leadership to ensure timely distribution of the Email Question Survey to the DAWG membership.
