The on-line registration system has been enabled .  

Meeting Registration:  Early registration will end March 1 (to receive the US$50 early registration discount).  The on-line registration system will be disabled at the end of the day March 20 to print name badges and to finalize counts. NOTE:  the cost for walk-up registration for the meetings at the hotel is substantially higher than for registering on-line in advance. 

First-time, end-user attendees may request a promotional code for a complimentary meeting registration from tc-meetings@ieee.org

NOTE: A typical example of an end-user is someone who works for an electric utility or an industrial facility.  This offer is NOT extended to those who work for, or represent, an original equipment manufacturer (OEM), or a company which manufactures related components or materials.

► MONDAY, MARCH 25: SPOUSE/COMPANION TOUR - CRUISIN' UP THE PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY - Flyer 7Feb2019

Begin the day with a beautiful drive up the Pacific Coast Highway to Dana Point, well known as the "Whale Watching Capital of the West where you will spend the morning with a fun interactive jewelry-making workshop.  After a delicious buffet lunch on the shaded outdoor deck, you will head out for the historic chapel, landmark, and museum, Mission San Juan Capistrano. See a snapshot of California’s history by touring exhibits and museum rooms with an experienced guide.  After the guided tour explore 10-acre grounds of gardens, fountains and adobe preserved architecture.  Visit the newly conserved Serra Chapel, the only standing church where Saint Serra is known to have said mass.  Revel in the 400 year old golden retablo, historic paintings and wall décor before heading back to the hotel.

After lunch, the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood will take you behind-the-camera for a revealing look at the magic of Hollywood. You'll also check out Stage 48: Script to Screen, a new interactive sound stage where you can learn about the production process of a film or TV show, sit on the couch at Central Perk on the actual set of Friends, become Hobbit-sized at our forced perspective special effect table, soar above Hogwarts on a broomstick and much more. Make sure to visit The Archive, with two floors of memorabilia, including costumes and props from the Harry Potter films before boarding the bus back to the hotel.
