The IEEE P1159.1 Task Force was formed to develop an IEEE Guide for Recorder and Data Acquisition Requirements for Characterization of Power Quality Events. However, the task force is no longer active. For more information, see the IEEE PES Working Group on Monitoring Electric Power Quality.
