The following is a list of discussion items from the review of this document: 1. p11, sec 5.10 - can now remove the blue text - "Two changes have been ..." 2. p11, sec 5.10 - remove the bulletted topic (in red) - "The period of the current pattern ..." 3. p11, sec 5.10 - remove the question(in red) - "if we want to make this restriction", and include a new paragraph at the end of section 5.10 that elaborates on the mixing of units. [action - tony] 4. p19, sec 10.1 - leave the comment (in red) until the other working group members have approved. Change 'Sig' to 'Signal'. Change 'Var' to 'Variable', leave 'Enum' as abbreviated. 5. p20, sec 10.1 - update the syntax descriptions [action - tony] 6. p24, sec 11.5 - add an elaboration on the use of real in an integer expression to section 5. The operation does an implicit truncation. Also this example needs work. the variable 'counter' is initialized, but never used. [action - tony] 7. p34, sec 15 - fix the example. It should call setup_and_shift. 8. p35, sec 16.1 - remove red comment - "the presence of a name ..." 9. p46, annex B - remove the red comment - "The following example was ..." 10. p67, annex L - greg still has the action to define complex cells via inheritance. It was decided that a new annex (annex M) should be created that shows multiple bits being consumed from a shift operation for the purpose of supporting multi-bit cells. Diagnostic Extension - as discussed in 6/21 minutes is to be added to the document [action - tony] The next meeting is scheduled for aug 2, 2001. We expect to be close to going for an internal-extended review of the document at that time.
