Documents

http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/1450/dot1/p1450.1-D17-review-resolution.pdf  (open issues)

Changes made to Draft 17 since the ITC03 review:

1. All (or hopefully all) of the corrections and suggestions from the ITC meeting.

2. Major changes to scan structures - clauses 6.11 and 15

- the :: nomenclature for chain references has been totally removed

- all cells, chains, groups now exist in one name space

- InheritScanStructures has been added to allow inclusion of other scan chain definitions

- complex cell types now defined by reference in ScanCellType block

3. Changes to expressions

- boolean expressions to use parens ( )

- right hand side of expression is always wfc list unless

   a) preceeded by \W, \E, etc

   b) enclosed in single quotes

4. Fail data - new annex N has been added (as provided by Jason).

Agenda

1. Review the changes to the document.

2. What else needs to be done?

3. Prepare for ballot.

Meeting discussion

IEEE meeting clearances

Nothing under discussion or presentation for this meeting was

identified as being proprietary or restricted.

boolean expresesions

changes reviewed and accepted by Working Group.

scan cells

Addition of CellTypes. Identified that a CellType without a block name would be applied to all cells in this block.

Tom identified the combination of boolean and non-conditioned CellIn/CellOut statements can make parsing difficult (don't know how to apply a statement until all statements have been parsed).

Tom questioned what happens if multiple statements are TRUE for the CellIn or CellOut. And is the non-conditioned statement an 'else' or an 'always-true'?

Tom [AI1] will take this off-line with Peter Wohl.

Question about the contents of scan-cell-names. It was identified that when ScanCells {} is used, the ! needs to be delimited with a ; here.

The changes to ScanStructures were  accepted by the Working Group.

Equivalent

The changes to the definition, for clarification only, was accepted by the Working Group.

There was identified some confusion about '1' (one) and 'l' (ell). Tony to remove the lowercase-ell 'l' in the example in the equivalent section, as the l (ell) is not needed and eliminates confusion about apparent multiple references to the same WFC.

Jason's new annex

Reviewed and accepted by the Working Group.

There was some discussion about an email sent around by Rohit in reference to the constructs present here. Jason identified that usage of labels and X-statements overlaps with the pattern marker realm, but that this is a specific application for fail data support. Tony identified the necessary task of aligning p1450.6 and p1450.1 before

closing on this topic.

Balloting

---------

Initial ballot list ready. Tony will contact the IEEE Standards group and indicate that we are ready to form a balloting group, with the one piece of data of when do we need to submit the balloting document once

the group is formed? If there is sufficient time between starting the ballot formation and submitting the document then we will start the balloting group formation immediately.

Meeting adjourned at 11:00 pm PDT.

Next meeting

Thursday, Nov 6, 2003, 10:00 to 11:30AM, PST

AIs

[AI1] Tom - discuss w/Peter and clarify CellIn/Out multiple-statement issues.

[AI2] Tony - remove l (ell) occurrences in Equivalents example.
