Discussion:
Clause 15 - Use of the new "SignalsPer" keyword
The wording of the description to change to "This statement specifies the incremental number of signals that are associated with xxx. If not specified or if "SignalsPer 1;" then the incremental number of signals allocated shall be one."
Clause 12 - Naming of TRC blocks
We discussed and agreed on the naming conventions as described. Basically, the TRC contains the name of a tester or set of rules, and the Environment contains the name of a class of TRC rules.
We also discussed whether the standard should define how a tool references the desired set of TRC rules (i.e., should it be envname.trcname or what?). We decided that this is a tool issue and should be left out of the standard.
Clause 16 - Drive/CompareEvents and use of two integer parameters
There first integer specifies the number of events and the second integer specifies the number of substitutes.
A substitute event is one which requires the use of square brackets in the wft - i.e., {'0ns' D/U[0]; '10ns' D/U[1];). The explanation needs to differentiate between this usage and where there is a single wfc that drives multiple events.
Annex E - Review changes
Annex E was reviewed. It was decided that this should be moved to the tutorial (clause 5).
Clause 5 - Review of the tutorial
Clause 5.3 - Should include information about resource labels. It should define the flows for tester targeting and tester loading which should be capable of doing similar mapping operations. Clause 9.2 and 9.3 should be moved into this section of the tutorial.
Annex F should also be moved to the tutorial.
Other
Clause 16.1 - FormatSelect - We decided that the syntax definitions should show the MaxShapes in a separate block from the other statements. As is this can only be inferred from the descriptive text.
