There has been an informal request to the list by Nate Hayes
to include them.

So it should be discussed.

At present I am researching the state of the art on the usage of
modal intervals to be able to give a recommendation on whether
to account for modla intervals, and if yes in which form.
This will take a few more weeks, I guess.
