Oops, I meant that the discussion on Motion 10 ends today, NOVEMBER 24 (not October 24). Thanks, John. Best regards, Baker P-1788 members and email discussion group: My records show that discussion on Motion 10 (elementary functions) is to end on Tuesday, October 24, at which time voting will begin, and the motion will not be amended until after voting. Also, my records show that voting on motion 8 (exception handling) will end after Thursday, November 27 ends (where November 27 ends when it ends 1KM east of the International Date Line). Please refer to the posted motions at http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/1788/ and please contact me if you need the user ID and password for the private area. I remind people that these are position statements, meant for guidance for the technical editor in writing the actual standards document, and not actual wording of the standards document. As such, they require a simple majority to pass. Once we have a draft of the actual standards document, we will vote on each part of it; such votes will require a 2/3 majority to pass. Please correct me if any of the above is inaccurate. Sincerely, Ralph Baker Kearfott Vice Chair, P-1788 -- --------------------------------------------------------------- R.
