As a participant, I encourage discussion of that point. It seems to me that "The empty set may be represented by (NaN, NaN)" is an implementation detail that should not be specified in the standard, but I think suggesting that as a possibility may be helpful.
As unofficial parliamentarian, if we wish to amend Motion 14.01, there are three cases:
Case 1: If Motion 14.01 passes, Anyone can make a motion to alter it.
Case 2: If Motion 14.01fails, it can be amended and re-submitted.
Case 3: If Motion 14.01 does not get the necessary 48 votes for a decision, it can be amended and re-submitted.
As Voting Tabulator, the current tally is 23 - Yes; 2 No. 48 votes are needed to make a decision.
