Regarding the standard's name change, we are not at that point yet.
However, when our final document takes form, I think a name change
would require us going to the IEEE Sponsor (presently the MSC), and
requesting a change to the PAR.  A vote would then be taken at an
MSC teleconference, and the request would then be passed up the
hierarchy at IEEE for approval.  I can check on this procedure
when (or if) the time comes.

If the current standard prohibits mid-rad-only then better this is
metioned explicitely in the name of the standard:
"IEEE Standard for Inf-sup Interval Arithmetic".

Otherwise it will be not good for the reputation of the standard.
