Re: Some thoughts on Motion 19 (still under vote)

FWIW, on the related topic of Kaucher intervals:

For the period of time I've been involved with P1788 I have studied very carefully the motions with regard to Kaucher arithmetic. In my personal assessment, all of the motions are compatible with this. From motion 3 (sets of reals), Ulrich's arithmetic operations, Jurgen's table of required functions, decorations and exception handling, reverse operations, the various proposals for comparisions and overlapping operators, as well as Motion 16 and 19 (regardless which way that debate ends up).

On this present course, very little work would be needed to include Kaucher arithmetic; and all that work could be done at the very end as the last order of business. I believe it would be possible to finish on time.
