Re: KISS-decorations

Jurgen, Marco,

I like your paper. Thank you. I am particulary pleased to see the treatment
of intersection and union this way.
By eliminating the D4/ein decoration, I think it may be a little too simple,
though. I'll spend some time to prepare an example about my thoughts on
this. Otherwise it seems we are very close on our positions.

I think the decoration system is important, and I wouldn't object to another
three-weeks extension of discussion. So I will second your motion.

Nate

BTW, I still have some hope for a simple FTDIA, though, due to some work
Dominique Lohez showed me in an offline discussion. I'm hoping at some point
he might share this, as well.

Subject: KISS-decorations

John, Nate, P1788
we have prepared a third motion on decorations that clearly follows the
KISS principle. Perhaps it is too simple, but we are convinced that it
works better than the two current approaches. We only have 4 different
decorations and one linear order.
We are eager to read your comments.
Perhaps we can prolong the discussion time again? but there is not much
discussion(!)
