With respect to the discussion of correctly-rounding sin/cos/tan, perhaps
applications interested in repeatability in this context should use the
sinpi/cospi/tanpi family of functions.

Of course, when debugging an existing application that uses sin/cos/tan,
this would not be very helpful.
