Nate, P-1788,
Nathalie, John, Arnold, Juergen, and I were all at a
Schloss Dagstuhl seminar last week, and we discussed
extensively issues related to decorations, as well
as the direction and agenda for the committee. Nate,
although invited, was unable to attend due to duties
with his company.
I suggest that, before any additional formal motions be
made, John, Arnold, and Juergen communicate with Nate
to formulate a unified (consensus) motion on decorations.
Another item suggested to me at Dagstuhl is that I work
out a more specific agenda and timetable for completion
of P-1788 work and delivery of the document to the
Microprocessor Standardization Committee. I will do that
in the near future.
