In some cases (in particular for not too large intervals, which
are cases for which the midpoint is most interesting), this would
allow one to get the exact result. Then, I don't know in which
cases the midpoint could be useful except for bisection and
conversion to midrad. In the latter case, the midrad type could
have more precision than the inf-sup source type.
