Baker,
I do not quite understand this question. On Sept. 21, 2012 we got a mail from John Pryce. Part of Draft 05.1 of the standard was attached to this mail. On Page 1 of John's mail I read: What IS in it.So I conclude that it is already decided or at least desirable that Kaucher/modal arithmetic will be part of the standard. Motion 37 is a first step into this direction. It specifies how the basic arithmetic operations of Kaucher/modal arithmetic should or shall be defined. Best wishes Ulrich Am 26.09.2012 10:44, schrieb Ralph Baker Kearfott: Ulrich, To be formally clear, is the actual motion to include the operations as defined in the section "The Basic Operations of Kaucher Arithmetic" as (a) A required component of the standard? (b) An recommended component which, if implemented, must follow the stated definitions? (c) Something else? Please clarify.
