[P-1788]: Request for editorial volunteer --- Second Call

P-1788,

We still need a volunteer to help John put our document
into the IEEE-SA-required MS-Word or Framemaker form,
with the required boilerplate. I therefore re-post
my initial call for a volunteer.

Completion of the volunteer's work will be essential in
bringing our standardization work to completion. If
qualified, you can volunteer yourself, but suggestions
from you of appropriate persons would also be welcome.
Please be sure whomever volunteers has the time and
interest, and will communicate closely with John.

Sincerely,

Baker

P-1788,

To prepare our document for IEEE Standards Association staff
and for the official ballot phase, the document needs to
conform to a particular specified format (with prescribed
verbiage at the beginning, etc.), and must be either in
MS Word or Framemaker. However, for various reasons,
our standing document is presently being developed with LaTeX.
Our strategy is to translate the document into the required
system and form (for which there are templates) once we
have decided on the wording of the unique part. Along these
lines, due to the ubiquity of mathematical formulas in the
document, it appears the Word template is a better choice
than Framemaker.

Thus, we are seeking someone to do the
actual translation. If you are highly familiar with
both LaTeX and Word (or perhaps Framemaker) and,
most importantly, are willing
to commit to the work, please contact me. Your work will
be essential to making the P-1788 standard a reality.

Sincerely,

Baker
