FW: IFSA-NAFIPS 2013 deadline extended

FYI, papers submitted to the special interval session should be sent to me and Karen Villaverde, co-organizers, at Vladik@xxxxxxxx and kvillave@xxxxxxxxxxx

Papers that explicitly show how interval methods are helpful in fuzzy are very welcome.

However, since interval computations are the basis of many computations with fuzzy numbers and fuzzy objects, and many fuzzy researchers are not aware of the latest interval techniques (and use outdated ones), purely interval papers describing state-of-the-art to estimating range and other usual computational problems are also welcome

Please remember that we have a p1788 interval standard meeting at this conference, so for those who plan to come to this meeting why not use this opportunity to also present your results and to publish them in peer-refereed IEEE Proceedings (widely available on IEEE IExplore). Baker Kearfott has already submitted his paper with an overview of the standard, other papers are very welcome

The upcoming 2013 IFSA-NAFIPS Joint Congress that will be held
in Edmonton, Canada in June 24-28, 2013, www.ifsa2013.org

As you know IFSA World Congress and NAFIPS Annual Meetings
are flagship international events in the areas of fuzzy sets and
soft computing. They will bring together scientists, engineers,
students, and practitioners from all over the world working in
fuzzy logic and related areas to present their recent research
accomplishments.

We would like to encourage you to submit the paper
and attend the Joint Congress.

Edmonton is one of the most vibrant cities in Canada with a
wealth of cultural and tourist attractions. It is a gateway
to Rocky Mountains and North Canada. Edmonton offers a lot
of possibilities to learn more about geographical and cultural
variety of western Canada.
