FYI, papers submitted to the special interval session should be sent to me and Karen Villaverde, co-organizers, at Vladik@xxxxxxxx and kvillave@xxxxxxxxxxx Papers that explicitly show how interval methods are helpful in fuzzy are very welcome. However, since interval computations are the basis of many computations with fuzzy numbers and fuzzy objects, and many fuzzy researchers are not aware of the latest interval techniques (and use outdated ones), purely interval papers describing state-of-the-art to estimating range and other usual computational problems are also welcome Please remember that we have a p1788 interval standard meeting at this conference, so for those who plan to come to this meeting why not use this opportunity to also present your results and to publish them in peer-refereed IEEE Proceedings (widely available on IEEE IExplore). Baker Kearfott has already submitted his paper with an overview of the standard, other papers are very welcome From: Marek Reformat [mailto:reformat@xxxxxxxxxxx] - Apologies if you received multiple copies of this message. |
