Dear P1788, I just published a first version of my C++ implementation of our standard. https://github.com/nehmeier/libieeep1788 At the moment the library is runnable/tested on Linux systems with gcc (see requirements of the library) but we plan to have student assistants to adapt it to other compilers and systems. It is still work in progress and it would be helpful if you play around with the library and report all the bugs using the github issue tracker ...
