I also think that the clause §12.12.12 on reduction operations go
beyond the approved PAR. Moreover it is there in
12.12. Required operations on bare and decorated intervals
while §12.12.12 doesn't deal with interval arithmetic at all.
Ditto for §12.13.5 on exact reduction operations, which is in
a section on operations on intervals.
