P1788: Motion M006.01 update
P1788.1:
Voting on Motion M006.01 closes Nov. 9 (TOMORROW), from Nathalie’s message of Oct. 19 (appended below).
Current tally by my records:
Yes: 36; No: 0; needed for quorum: 29.
36 of 43 Voting Members have voted.
Although it appears the motion will pass, YOUR VOTE STILL MATTERS. According to our Policies and Procedures, if you do not vote on two consecutive motions, you are removed from Voting Member status, although re-instatement is easy.
PLEASE VOTE, if you have not already done so.
Full information: Since we are scattered around the globe, I interpret "Voting on Motion M006.01 closes Nov. 9” as the time when the last vestiges of Nov. 9 disappear at the International Date Line at 1200 Universal Time on Nov. 10. In practice, any votes in my inbox when I awake Thursday morning in Milwaukee still count.
