Re: IEEE 754 revision: request for volunteers

Is there a reason the thread is sent to the stds-1788 mailing list only and not 754 as well?

P.S. IEEE 1788 (the interval arithmetic revision) is also due for
revision.  I have discussed this with John Pryce (the technical editor
for the original standard), Nathalie Revol (the P1788 chair for the
original standard) and Ned Nedialkov (who drafted P1788.1, the
simplified standard).  They are all willing to continue.  You can
contact them (or me) if you are also interested in participating in a
1788 revision.
