Objective

To develop extensions to the 802.11 MAC/PHY to provide network management for STAs.

November 2010

Achievements

Sponsor recirculation balloting on P802.11v D15.0 had closed; however an additional recirculation ballot is underway to
address Assigned Number issues discovered subsequently in industry interoperability testing.


The ninth recirculation ballot on P802.11v D16.0 closes November 15th.  

The schedule for completion/ratification of the TGv amendment is changed to February 2011 (was December 2010).

Sixth recirculation Sponsor Ballot results were as follows: 140 yes, 3 no, 7 abstain, 97% approval.

for new normative text for the draft TGv specification. Approximately 1000 comment resolutions were approved at the
May 2008 meeting, and the resolutions will be incorporated into TGv Draft 2.02 The Task Group voted to go to Letter Ballot, with
a procedural and then Letter Ballot on Draft 2.02/3.0.

TGv Draft 1.02, which was approved as the current TGv draft. Approximately 750 comment resolutions were approved at the

Approximately 600 of the 2006 LB 108 comments remain to be resolved. Of the remaining 600 comments,
approximately 100 comments were agreed to at the November meeting, but not approved, due to the need to meet
