Hi,

Thanks for the lively discussion during our EDITORs meeting on Tuesday.  The final version of the agenda slide deck is posted:

As per the discussion, we plan to organize a teleconference call with the objective of beginning to update the IEEE 802.11 style guide.   Given the holiday season is coming, I tentatively choose 9:00am ET to 11:00am, Monday, 5 January 2026, as the date and time of our call.  Please do let me know offline if you have any comment or suggestion.

The 802.11 Editors will meet from 7:00am ICT to 7:55am ICT on Tuesday, 11 November 2025, in the November 2025 plenary.

The followings are the tentative agenda items of the meeting:
  • Volunteer Editor Contacts:  Refresh
  • Status report from each task group & any related discussion 
  • Draft development snapshot and amendment ordering:  Refresh
  • ANA managed number spaces:  Refresh
  • Editorial Style guide and near-term plan
  • Open discussion
    • TGbi MDR
    • The use of hyphen in abbreviation
If you would like to request any additional agenda item for discussion, it's greatly appreciated to let me know preferably by Thursday, 6 November 2025.
