[STDS-802-11-TGBN] TGbn response to liaison from WBA on L4S

Hi, Alfred,

Here is the latest ARC status on the L4S stuff (and the WBA liaison in particular). Let me know how/if I can help with getting a response liaison from/though TGbn.

WBA liaison on L4S:

  • 11-24/1569r0 Liaison letter (pretty high-level, just a pointer to the paper, and an invitation for a joint discussion and request for any other feedback)
  • 11-24/1617r0 L4S overview and summary of WBA paper (authored by some 802.11/WBA members, presented to ARC by Greg White)
      • (Also 11-23/0838r1, another liaison from WBA on their general end-to-end QoS project)
  • Interim liaison response: 11-24/1933r1 (is mostly “thank you, we got your liaison, we’ll get back to you” sort of response, from Nov 2024 session.  Decided to defer sending this until TGbn and REVm discussion got further and indicated some direction we intended)
  • Coordination/alignment with TGbn and REVmf 11-24/1931r0 (Mike and I started to put this together with a proposal for how to split the effort between TGbn, ARC and REVmf.  I started to talk to you about this back then, but we never finished.)
  • Final/updated liaison response needed – Pending activities in REVmf and/or TGbn to add L4S support (ARC will provide support as needed)

Mark
