My comment on this have been consistent since the start and I’m as eager as you are to make progress on this.

 

That said, please take into account the other comments (which are perhaps easy to implement and mainly editorial), and let’s hear other experts’ opinions on the debatable part (if there are any).

I feel surprised on your following comments, If I recalled correctly, you've already agreed to split the definition between AP ID and AID when the POC Arik talked with you during the last F2F session. And the current PDT is based on your agreement. Could you explain to the group why you change your position again? How to make some progress and move forward? What you want?

 

 

Generally against the split of the field description, since may lead to spec text duplication and overlooking maintaining one of the branches. I suggest to undo this, rely on AID field, modify Figure 9-aa12 to carry ‘AID field’ and modify the accompanying text, in 37.15.1.3.2.2 AP ID assignment refer to AID field.
