Hi All,
I have presnted 26/0042r0 regarding “Multi-AP Coordination Simulation for 11bn PAR Verification”.
This thread is opened to address comments received during the presentation and to solicit further feedback.
Please post comments or feedback to this thread or send them to me.

Q: Joint Sounding? or Sequential Sounding?
A: Joint Sounding in this simulation.
Q: What happens if you change the sounding interval? What results do you expect?
A: There is a trade-off between interference suppression effect and overhead of sounding, so we will now examine which Interval is optimal.
Q: How much overhead is in this simulation?
A: Invite/Response/Trigger are present before every transmission. No ICF/ICR exchange.
Q: What is the sounding period? If it's 3ms, why doesn't this 3ms appear as delay when comparing Co-SR/BF to Co-TDMA?
A: The arrival time of low-latency traffic and the start time of the sounding may be slightly out of sync. Please allow me to verify.
Q: Is the Legacy using MIMO?
A: Yes
Q: Can APs detect each other? This positioning might change the results.
A: In any scenario, the AP detects signals from other AP at around -66 dBm/20 MHz. We will also conduct additional verification when the relative positions exceed -62 dBm (ED threshold).
Q: Is it possible to deliberately lower MCS in Co-BF?
A: I think it could be effective if AP want to suppress the impact of channel variation, but I haven't tried it this time.
Q: Co-RTWT behavior is a bit different. AP1 should be able to backoff even within SP.
A: I'll check.
Q: Even if DL evaluation, you should include UL traffic. I think the results will change
A: Agree. I'll evaluate it.
Q: For the latency performance evalution slides, I wonder if we can also see the throughput of BSS1 for rTWT and CTDMA.
A: Agree. I'll evaluate it.
Q: What is the exact description of Baseline/Legacy? Is OBSS PD-based SR allowed?
A: No 11ax SR. Legacy means pure TDMA.
Q: Do we assume a single PPDU per TXOP for CoBF/CoSR data transmission? Or multiple PPDUs?
A: Multiple transmissions within a TXOP are permitted, but based on the relationship between TXOP limit, data rate, and the number of aggregations, DL PPDUs are typically transmitted only once per TXOP.
Q: What are the scenarios where CoBF and CoSR are overperformed by baseline? We need to have a solid understanding of those scenarios.
A: In scenarios where the STA's SINR is too low to apply a high MCS even with strong interference mitigation, no gain from simultaneous transmission is achieved. It is speculated that performance may be reversed due to overhead effects.
Furthermore, as shown here, consideration must also be given to environments experiencing significant channel fluctuations.
