Hi Bo, Please update my deferred SFD SP1 text as below.
(1) the non-AP AMP STA has a high-entropy PSK that is known to the AMP AP; (2) the AMP AP and the non-AP AMP STA derive a high-entropy PMKv1 from the PSK using parameters specified by the AMP AP; and they authenticate each other; (3) if the non-AP AMP STA can save the PMKv1 in persistent memory, the AMP AP and the non-AP AMP STA save the PMKv1 as the PMK for future secure communications; (4) if the non-AP AMP STA cannot save the PMKv1, it generates a high-entropy PMKv2 and sends the PMKv2 to the AMP AP with the PMKv2 encrypted by the
KEK, a portion of the PTK derived from the authentication process. The AMP AP saves the PMKv2 as the PMK for future secure communications.
Please remove my deferred SP2 from the SP queue tomorrow. I will need more time on fine tuning SP2. Thanks, Hui From: sun.bo1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx <sun.bo1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
Hello, all, Since we have completed all planned tech contributions, I'm now calling for PDT SPs and SFD SPs that will be conducted in Thursday AM1/PM1. Please provide following information when you apply for a SP to the reflector:
There'll be two SP slots (for both PDT and SFD) in AM1 and PM1 respectively. The deadline of the call is by 11:30am Thursday. I'll arrange received SPs in one of the
two SP slots based on the time I see them in the reflector. If there're SPs in the list but not conducted in AM1 due to short of time, they will be deferred to PM1 automatically. Each SP will be allocated a short time for brief intro and clarification comments within 5 mins. SPs that need more time for further discussion will be deferred. The
SPs that are deferred and requested back to the list (including updated) will be conducted before new SPs in principle. As usuall, in Thursday PM1, we will conduct one motion to approve the SFD text proposals with majority support in the SFD SPs, and one motion to approve all the PDT
proposals with majority support in PDT SPs. Best Regards, Bo To unsubscribe from the STDS-802-11-TGBP list, click the following link:
