Hi Bo,

Could you please add the following NEW SPs? In the email thread I announced the latest version of the PDT 11-25/1964r2, I also mentioned adding the PDT to the SP, but I'm not sure if that was captured or not.


PDT SP

Do you agree to incorporate the proposed draft text in document 11-25/1964r2 into the next version of the 11bp draft, and grant the TGbp editor privilege to make editorial modification when incorporating the proposed text?

 

SFD SP

SP1: Do you agree to add the following to the 11bp SFD:

·         The non-AMP portion preamble for all DL AMP PPDUs is transmitted over 20MHz channel

·         Bandwidth in U-SIG is set to 20MHz

SP2: Do you agree to add the following to the 11bp SFD:

·         There is an AMP-SIG field after the AMP-SYNC field and before the AMP-Data field in the DL AMP PPDU from an AMP AP to non-backscatter devices and bistatic backscatter devices, and the DL AMP PPDU from a bistatic exciter to bistatic backscatter devices

·         The AMP-SIG field consists of the following 8 bits

o   1-bit AMP Version Identifier

§  Set to 0 to indicate 11bp

o   1-bit Receiving Device Type

§  Set to 0 to indicate AMP enabled device

§  Set to 1 to indicate active transmitter or bistatic backscatter device

o   6-bit “BSS Color/Partial STA-ID”

§  It indicates the BSS Color of the AMP AP if the Receiving Device Type is set to 0

§  It indicates the partial STA-ID (definition TBD) of the receiving STA if the Receiving Device Type is set to 1

Since we have completed all planned tech contributions, I'm now calling for PDT SPs and SFD SPs that will be conducted in Thursday AM1/PM1. 

Please provide following information when you apply for a SP to the reflector:
  1. Clearly claim whether it's a SP for a PDT, or a SP for SFD;
  2. Clearly claim whether it's a new SP or a deferred SP;
  3. If it's a deferred SP, clearly claim whether the SP text is updated and the updated text if there is;
  4. If it's a new SP, provide the SP text and the referred documents.
  5. Note, the SP requests that have been sent to the reflector before this call are noticed and there's no need for another request email for those SP requests.
There'll be two SP slots (for both PDT and SFD) in AM1 and PM1 respectively. The deadline of the call is by 11:30am Thursday. I'll arrange received SPs in one of the two SP slots based on the time I see them in the reflector. If there're SPs in the list but not conducted in AM1 due to short of time, they will be deferred to PM1 automatically. 

Each SP will be allocated a short time for brief intro and clarification comments within 5 mins. SPs that need more time for further discussion will be deferred. The SPs that are deferred and requested back to the list (including updated) will be conducted before new SPs in principle.

As usuall, in Thursday PM1, we will conduct one motion to approve the SFD text proposals with majority support in the SFD SPs, and one motion to approve all the PDT proposals with majority support in PDT SPs.
