 Colleagues, A mailing list has been setup with archive
          for this new Industry Connections activity. 
           IC17-001 IEEE 802 Network
                  Enhancements for the Next Decade  
          As you may recall,  the Network Enhancements for the
              Next Decade activity will assess emerging
          requirements for IEEE 802-based communication infrastructures,
          identify commonalities, gaps, and trends not currently
          addressed by IEEE 802 standards and projects, and facilitate
          building industry consensus towards proposals to initiate new
          standards development efforts. At the first meeting in July, a number of
          broad areas were identified as potential areas to explore in
          802.  This included verticals like cable operators, industrial
          networks and automotive. Contributions are solicited for the plenary
          meeting (Tuesday, Nov 7th 7:30pm) Please forward this request/information to
