Dear 802.11 members,
I am happy to appoint Bo Sun (Sanechips) as the Ambient Power Study Group Chair.
Bo has ably served as the AMP Topic Interest Group chair, and I believe that this appointment enables smooth continuation of WG11 AMP related work.
The WG11 confirmation motion will be held in May. Congratulations Bo!
If you are interested in serving as the
IMMW SG chair, let me know any time before 2023-09-01. I plan to make
the appointment in early September.
Important: Please note that the IMMW SG will have
its first meeting at the NOVEMBER 2023 session. Documents can be posted
to mentor ahead of that;
however the 1 year lifetime duration of the study group
starts at its first meeting.
The Mentor document groups are now updated:
From "AMP TIG" to "AMP TIG/SG".
and
Added "IMMW SG" Integrated MilliMeter Wave" document group.
This is a slight modification to the initial "IMW" designation to "IMMW" based on member request and to be consistent with the prior CMMW (China Millimeter Wave) SG practice.
