802.11 participants,

There will be a dedication ceremony for IEEE milestones:

• Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) Enables the Internet, 1974 - Vint Cerf and Bob Kahn to participate
• Origin of the IEEE 802 Family of Networking Standards, 1980-1999
• PageRank and the Birth of Google, 1996-1998

Time: Sunday, May 19 from 1pm – 5pm

Place: Stanford University Memorial Auditorium, Stanford, California, USA

If you are interested in attending let me know. There are roughly 400 seats available for IEEE 802 attendees.

NOTE that his event occurs the Sunday following the 802.11 session in Warsaw, Poland.
