Body: The Transport Working Group (TSVWG) is pleased to inform IEEE802.11 about the publication of its work on “A Non-Queue-Building Per-Hop Behavior (NQB PHB) for Differentiated Services” as RFC9956 (published in Standards Track).

The publication of this RFC updates the IETF’s guidance on Mapping of Diffserv to IEEE 802.11 which was published in 2018 as RFC8325. In particular, the new RFC provides a recommendation on the treatment of one newly defined DSCP value by 802.11 devices.
