0~Tsoulogiannis, Tom~tomt@neesus.com~416-754-8007~~Neesus Datacom Inc.~10~10.2.2.6~00~00~TR~Although the AWMA mechanism is interesting, I'm not sure whether it is valid for a Recommended Practice document as it requires modification to existing standards. If the 802.11 standard is modified to add the Element in the Beacon and Probe Response, then it ceases to be a recommended practice, and probably becomes a "shall" if the WPAN option is implemented.....~Remove this option from the document or find an alternative method to achieve the bandwidth sharing without requiring changes to 802.11 standard. For example an AWMA-like mechanism can be obtained by using the upcoming 802.11e TxOPs. An 802.11 device can request additional TxOPs from the AP, to cover the bandwidth required by the co-resident 802.15 device. In this way the 802.11 standard does not need to be modified (nor the 802.11e draft) and the Master can gate it's operation based on granted TxOPs to achieve coexistence and possibly even supporting SCOs.~~X~O
