Re: [STDS-802-16] ***Going Mobile: IEEE 802.16e is Approved by IEEE-SA***

Roger, what will be the "published" name of the, just approved, 802.16e amendment?

There is no such plan, currently.

To formally merge a base document and its
amendments into a new standard requires a
"revision" project. We have no plans to undertake
such a project.

It is possible to informally "consolidate" the
base document and its amendments into a new
document that is not an official standard. This
may happen with 802.16 next year.
