FW: [RPRWG] Availability of Final Comments for P802.17 D1.1

Title: Availability of Final Comments for P802.17 D1.1
RPRers,

The PDF that I submitted was corrupted and has been replaced. At the same time, the file name was changed to match the name given in the comment. If you have already downloaded jl_Clause_6_files.pdf, please trash it and replace it with the file that is now available in the same location, jl_cls06_MAC_6.6_1105.pdf.

This fills a major hole in Clause 6, and I encourage everyone to read it. While it's too late for discussion on the reflector, I'll be happy to discuss it and answer questions in Koloa.

Aloha,
jl

Subject: [RPRWG] Availability of Final Comments for P802.17 D1.1

On behalf of the Chief Editor and Working Group Chairman:

Availability of Final Comments for P802.17 D1.1
-----------------------------------------------

Dear IEEE 802.17 Working Group Member:

This e-mail is to advise you of the availability, for review, of the
361 comments against the Draft P802.17/D1.1 document which was posted
on October 26, 2002. This batch also includes 25 comments that were
carried over unresolved from the comment resolution against P802.17/D1.0.
Due to the short period until the next Plenary meeting, please bring
any proposed resolutions directly to the meeting. All properly submitted
comments will be dealt with during the November 2002 meeting in Kauai,
HI.

A copy of the comment database, the draft, the ballot/comment executable
and the associated Commentary Users Guide can be found on our
password-protected website:

http://www.ieee802.org/17/member/draftballots/d1_1/

Note that several commenters have submitted additional files (in PDF and
other formats) for use in conjunction with their comments. These files
may also be downloaded from the same password-protected website.

The ballot/comment executable, known as the Comment Resolution Database
or CRD, is designed for systems capable of running Windows or Macintosh
based programs. Please read the comment instructions (the Commentary
User's Guide) carefully. The instructions for opening and viewing these
comments may be found in the sections "Updating the Comment Resolution
Database" on page 5 of the User's Guide.
