With additional information from our comment editor, I’m announcing an extension to the review period for P802.3bv/D1.2.  Please submit comments by  Monday, 7th September 2015, 23:59 AOE (anywhere on earth).  USA domiciled reviewers please note that that date is Labor Day and don’t procrastinate till the holiday weekend before doing your review.)

This is the announcement of the electronic IEEE 802.3bv Task Force 3rd review on the Amendment IEEE P802.3bv Gigabit Ethernet Over Plastic Optical Fiber. The draft includes the comment resolutions from our July meeting, as well as general editorial improvements.  The editors had to use their judgement in resolving some comments that overlapped.  Consequently, text in the draft may differ from the recorded resolutions, but hopefully have not drifted from the intent of the resolutions.

SCOPE:
As a Task Force review, the scope is the complete IEEE P802.3bv draft.

REVIEW CLOSE:
Monday, 31st August 2015, 23:59 AOE (anywhere on earth)

HOW TO SUBMIT COMMENTS

E = Editorial
ER = Editorial Required (a binding comment that if we were voting would be part of a DISAPPROVE vote, in WG ballot only appropriate for an IEEE 802.3 voting member)
T = Technical
TR = Technical Required (a binding comment that if we were voting would be part of a DISAPPROVE vote, in WG ballot only appropriate for an IEEE 802.3 voting member)

1. Prepare your comments in one of the following two ways:

a. You are STRONGLY REQUESTED to use the comment tool at the URL:

To use the tool, extract all components into a folder and do not move any component from that folder as this will cause the executable to not work correctly. The tool is:
