[802.3_GEPOF] P802.3bv/D1.3 Task Force review



Dear Colleagues:

This is the announcement of the electronic IEEE 802.3bv Task Force 4th review on the proposed amendment IEEE P802.3bv Gigabit Ethernet Over Plastic Optical Fiber. The draft includes the comment resolutions from our September meeting, including some general editorial improvements.  (I have delegated sending this announcement to our comment editor Mr. Pérez-Aranda as I will have unpredictable internet access at the time of ballot opening.)

The most significant changes in this draft are the merge of Clause 115 into Clause 114 and significant changes to the PMD specifications. 

SCOPE:
As a Task Force review, the scope is the complete IEEE P802.3bv draft.

Saturday, 31st October 2015, 23:59 AOE (anywhere on earth)

E = Editorial
ER = Editorial Required (a binding comment that if we were voting would be part of a DISAPPROVE vote, in WG ballot only appropriate for an IEEE 802.3 voting member)
T = Technical
TR = Technical Required (a binding comment that if we were voting would be part of a DISAPPROVE vote, in WG ballot only appropriate for an IEEE 802.3 voting member)

1. Prepare your comments in one of the following two ways:
