RE: NEW P802.3da (C/LM) IEEE Draft Standard for Ethernet Amendment 10: Physical Layer Specifications and Management Parameters for Enhancement of 10 Mb/s Operation over Single Balanced Pair Multidrop Segments
Dear David:
I am pleased to inform you that P802.3da was approved as a new standard by the IEEE SA Standards Board on 12 February 2026. A copy of the document will be forwarded to the Standards Publications Department. The editor assigned to work on the project will contact
you.
Please visit Next Step Kit https://standards.ieee.org/wp-content/uploads/import/documents/other/next_steps_kit.pdf
to understand what to expect between the SASB approval of your standard and its publication.
When the standard is published, you will receive information on how to submit a request in myProject for your IEEE Standards Working Group Awards.
An approved IEEE standard will remain active for ten years. If the Standards Committee does not complete a revision process within ten years, the standard will be transferred to inactive status.
Please contact me if you have any questions prior to speaking with your editor.
Sincerely,
