Re: [802.3_PDCC] New CDV for 63315

All, I was wrong about the comment deadline for 63315. The Oct 30 deadline was for me to respond to a poll for meetings but was worded in a way that made me misinterpret. Oh the irony…

Anyway, the CDV closed on 11 Dec which means we have plenty of time to review and discuss any comments. David and I already discussed a few, so I will be dedicating a future ad hoc meeting to 63315, 18 Nov is looking like the best time currently. The 25th is likely to be lightly attended by US based folks and 2 Dec is pushed too close to the comment due date.

If you have proposed comments against 63315, please send them to me so I can gather them into one document.

Regards,

Chad

Subject: New CDV for 63315

All, I have posted two new documents in the 63315 private area, the newest CDV and the redline version. It’s doubtful that I will be able to host a meeting to review this document as comments are due Oct 30 and we couldn’t get WG approval for said comments (and we’re already scheduled to meet 2 hours tomorrow to give time to gather the 11801 comments). I don’t think that’s a huge deal. The scope changed where most of our PoE gear falls outside of the scope of 63315 and fully under 62368. As the liaison from 802.3 to 63315, I’ve been following this and don’t think there are any issues.

If you happen to read the 63315 document and have something that concerns you, please drop me a note and I can look at it.
