initial Standards Association ballot results

Dear Colleagues,

The initial Standards Association ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3ch
Multi-Gig Automotive Ethernet PHY closed successfully on 20th December 2019.
The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The
January 2020 IEEE P802.3ch Task Force interim meeting
<http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 91 comments
submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The
availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3ch
Task Force reflector.

The ballot statistics are:

 117 Voters
  85 Approve
   5 Disapprove 
   5 Abstain
  95 Ballots returned

  81% Response Rate (>= 75% required)
   5% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
  94% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
