[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE 802.3 January 2023 teleconference interim meeting series announcement

Dear Colleagues,

IEEE 802.3 will hold its January 2023 interim meeting series telephonically, from Monday 16 January 2023 through Thursday 19 January 2023. An IEEE 802.3 Working Group interim meeting will be held from 14h00 UTC (06h00 PDT, 07h00 MDT, 08h00 CDT, 09h00 EDT, 14h00 GMT, 17h00 CET, 19h30 IST, 22h00 CST, 23h00 JST) to 16h00 UTC on Thursday 19 January. Several Working Group decisions are expected during the IEEE 802.3 Working Group interim meeting. Depending on the amount of discussion, the IEEE 802.3 Working Group meeting may run beyond our target 16h00 UTC ending time, so please plan your time accordingly. Call details are below, I'll send a calendar invitation shortly. Task Force, standing committee, and any appropriate ad hoc meetings will be held from Monday 16 January 2023 through Thursday 19 January 2023, excluding Friday 14 January 2022 UTC through Sunday 16 January 2022 UTC, and will be announced nearer the meeting series.

By holding an IEEE 802.3 interim meeting series, which is multiple co-located individual interim meetings, I can grant attendance credit based on attendance at those individual interims as described in the IEEE 802.3 rules. The IEEE 802 Working Group P&P say, however, that 'Membership may be declared at the discretion of the Working Group Chair (e.g., for contributors by correspondence or other significant contributions to the Working Group).'. As a result, to simplify attendance recording, as we have always done at a face-to-face interim meeting series in the past, I'll grant meeting credit to any individual that attends a meeting on two of the four meeting days of the January 2023 IEEE 802.3 interim series.
