On Behalf Of Gaurav Patwardhan Dear 802 LMSC members, With this email I would like to announce the start of a LMSC ballot on Japan MIC's consultation on their Frequency Reorganization Action Plan. James has delegated to me to conduct an LMSC 10-day electronic ballot on the motion below to approve the comments to the administration. This EC motion is per IEEE 802 OM 7.2.1 Procedure, P&P 7.1 b) (majority response) and P&P 7.1.2 (2/3 approval of votes

On 18th September 2026, Japan's MIC began a consultation on their Frequency Reallocation Action Plan (FY2026 edition). A few individuals prepared a response to MIC's consultation. The submission was approved by IEEE 802.18 on 8th October 2026 with the following voting results: 13 Yes, 0 No, 0 Abstain. Link to the draft response: (Note - The quoted text to note the relevant sections is direct translations and are added for member's benefit.
