To clarify, voting rights for 802.20 will be granted on the basis of "particpation" in the 802.20 sessions at the March IEEE Plenary. Please keep in mind that participation is defined as "at least 75% presence at a meeting".

I am curious that someone said the voting right will be issued at the first planary meeting of the new WG.

On 10 December 2002 NesCom unanimously approved the 802.20 PAR. This decision was confirmed by the IEEE Standards Board on 11 December 2002.

 

IEEE 802.20 will have an interim meeting 13-17 January 2003 at the Fort Lauderdale Marina Marriott in Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA. Meeting information can be found on the IEEE web-site at http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/802/mbwa/meet_next.htm .
