Paul,
The attached e-mail was written by a
member on the list in response to a previous spam message before the list was
closed. I have asked that member privately to not do that in the future. The
list is now a closed list and only members of the list can spam each other at
this point. I suggest we all give this a chance and see haow it works.
Regards,
Mark

Spam on the e-mail list
Looks like the spam - as
the attached message proves - can still flow freely into this list.
So, there is still
"something rotten in Denmark"... let us hope this is not
representative in any way of the 802.20 works, i.e., that in 802.20 the work
will be very professional.

on the e-mail list
E-Mail List Subscribers
My apologies for the amount of spam
being generated on this list. In order to eliminate this I have asked the IEEE
Staff to close the e-mail list to people that are not subscribers. This will
close off spam capabilities to those that are not subscribed. New subscribers
will also need to be approved by the e-mail list maintainer - this should allow
us to keep the list quite free of spam on a going forward basis.
