Very timely
 
This months IEEE INTERNET COMPUTING has a theme issue on  "Ubiquititous Mobile Computing"
 
There are five different papers discussing different issues in mobile IP-based services  (soft-IP handoff; integrating networks; middleware; context aware services).
 
May be worth a look.
