RE: stds-802-mobility: High level agenda is available
Gang,
Maybe this is somewhere embedded in the schedule, but I believe we need time
on the agenda to discuss
the PARs from the other 802 WGs that are up for SEC approval. All working
groups have the right to give direction
to their chairman as to whether to vote approve or disapprove on PARs at the
SEC meeting. We can also
request a representative from those groups give us a presentation so that we
are sure that their project will not
have an adverse affect on the work of our group. I believe we also should
discuss the reaffirmation of the 802
Chairman, as per the email that was distributed earlier this week. Finally,
I am concerned that the discussion
of WG schedule is on the last day after all the CGs. First, as we saw in
Vancouver, this can result in the topic
getting short changed timewise. My request is that the discussion of
schedule be moved to the first 802.20
plenary session and that it is allocated a sufficient amount of time --
probably an hour or so, depending on the number
of contributions on the subject.
Best regards,
Joanne
